Heartbeat Sweater – Thursday, July 22, July 29 and August 12– 10:30-noon

This unusual sweater begins at the center neckline and is knitted out to any size.  Vertical side panels fine-tune the size.  Short sleeves are knit top down.  Worsted weight yarn works well, but any size yarn may be used.  You’ll have great fun as  you watch the sweater take shape!

Level:  Advanced beginner/Intermediate
Materials (not included in fee):  Yarn, pattern, needles, markers, thin smooth string
Charge: $50

Arch-shaped Socks – Wednesday, July 28 – 10:30-12:30

This class teaches a different way of shaping your foot by knitting it on the bias.  No more side-to-side decreasing on the gusset; this one is from bottom to top, which does a great job of following the curve of your arch and foot.  The result is a pleasingly fitted sock.

Level:  Any sock knitter
Materials (not included in fee):  Yarn, needles, markers, pattern (free download – “Arch-Shaped Socks by Jean Showalter)
Class Preparation:  Come to the class prepared to begin the gusset.  Choose your own design for the leg in a pattern of 64 sts.
Charge: $25

Magic Loop Mini-session – July 29 – 10:30- noon
